All of our programs are run by volunteers. As a mentor or coach of a team, you can have a significant impact on youth in our region, while reaping the benefits of giving back to yourself.
Mentors and coaches can be parents or family members, educators, employees of corporate sponsors, professionals, college students, or community members. Having volunteers from many backgrounds with varied experiences to support our students is beneficial. Technical experience is not required! We are looking for individuals with the desire to share their time, skills, and expertise with students. Learn alongside students, build relationships, and make a difference in the community—join us as we help grow tomorrow's leaders and innovators!
Time Commitment: Time commitment varies depending on the level of involvement.
Safety & Screening: To ensure a safe learning environment for participants, all of the Innovation Station volunteers and mentors will be screened and verified by an outside source. Coaches will be screened through the FIRST Youth Protection Program.
